Mindful Monday: Introductory Yoga Nidra
Our past few Mindful Monday episodes have been about down-regulating energy to support more rest and sleep. Today's episode continues the theme with a Yoga Nidra practice, also known as "Sleep Yoga."
This isn't your typical yoga! This is a deep guided relaxation that leads you into a hypnagogic state. Ultimately, your body and mind think that you are actually sleeping! The featured practice is about 30 minutes long and equivalent to around 90 minutes of sleep "feelings".
